Clean water means life
Over 800 million people in Africa have no access to clean water. They spend many hours every day fetching water from streams, lakes or puddles. This water often contains germs. Every minute four children worldwide die from the effects of contaminated drinking water. Children, especially girls, do not go to school because they have to walk many kilometers every day

Most of the villages are only 50-80 meters from the nearest water. However, 80 meters down. A deep borehole is usually necessary for a well.
